Connemara Golf Links was an 18-hole championship golf course located in Ballyconneely, Clifden in Co. Galway.
Connemara Golf Links was one of the nicest golf courses that I played in Ireland.
It was overlooking the 12 Bens mountain range and the rugged Atlantic ocean.
The views surrounding the golf course were simply stunning.
Connemara Golf Links had 27 holes but we only played 18 holes.
The course looked easier to play but it was not really an easy course to play.
Some of the Par 4s for both men and women were actually long.
The fairways looked wider and forgiving and the grass looked shorter.
Some of the greens looked farther, sometimes looked nearer from the tee boxes.
There were times that I was too short with my second shot and there were times that I was too long.
Do not be deceived. Know your clubs. Know your distance. Know how far can you strike.
There is quite a difference when you play on a higher area than when you play on a lower area.
Club selection in this course is very important because making low strokes is possible.
Knowing how to play with the wind could give you a good opportunity to make a good score.
If you play aggressively, you might not even find your golf ball on the rough.
Signature Hole: Thirteenth Hole
